Giving a sniffle, Luca nodded just a bit, keeping his face buried in Spada’s chest. “I-I’ll try, Spada…” He couldn’t let go. He couldn’t stop his tears. Relief was what washed over him, but also regret as well.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry…” He couldn’t help it. All that regret.. Everything. He.. felt so bad. Why.. did Spada put up with him?

He always had difficulties when Luca started crying. He was grateful Luca’s face was hidden against his shirt, so the smaller male couldn’t see just how flustered he was getting. Swallowing hard, he put on a fake smile, grinning ear to ear.

“There there! It’s a’ight! There’s nothin’ to apologize for, ya dork.” Like usual, he set a hand upon Luca’s head and gently ruffled the silver strands. “Now let me see ya smile!”

“Silly dork,” he responded, a bit embarrassed. “I’m not leaving you what so ever. Ya mean more ta me than anyone. And if somethin’ does happen… Stay strong fer me, will ya?”

“I just hope… I never have ta leave ya. I dun wanna see ya cry. So dry em eyes of yers. Fer me, please?”
